South Korea to get ex-Sempra LNG

South Korea will get some cargoes of LNG from the Tangguh LNG plant in West Papua diverted from American buyer Sempra Energy, upstream authority BPMIGAS said on Wednesday.

?The spot buyers (of ex-Sempra LNG) have been unveiled: Some have been sent to Japan, Thailand, India. This year, some cargoes will be shipped to South Korea,? BPMIGAS? Operational Control Deputy I Gde Pradnyana told Petromindo.com.

The ex-Sempra LNG will be sold to South Korea under a ?spot-market basis? rather than long-term contract, he said, while refusing to unveil the volume. ?I can?t unveil the volume because it could immediately impact the price.?
