South Korean firms to build waste power plant in Aceh

South Korea?s Samyoung Heavy Industries Co Ltd and Goka Enc signed on Sunday an MoU to develop a waste to energy power plant and a bio oil plant in Pantareja, Pidie Jaya Regency, Aceh, JPNN reported.

The report quoted Goka Enc top official Jang Eu Suk as saying that total investment for the two projects was estimated at US$550 million, with construction slated to start in March.

The power plant will produce electricity from waste products. (*)
