Southern Arc appoints new CFO

Canadian firm Southern Arc Minerals announced Friday that Vincent Boon, currently the company's Controller, will succeed Danny Lee as Chief Financial Officer (CFO).

"I would like to thank Danny for his contribution to the company over the last three years, and wish him great success in his future endeavors," said John Proust, Chairman and CEO of Southern Arc in a statement. "I look forward to working with Vince in his new capacity as CFO. His experience and knowledge of the company will be an asset to Southern Arc's executive team."

Boon is a chartered accountant with over ten years of professional accounting experience with private and public companies focusing on financial reporting, regulatory compliance, internal control and corporate finance activities.

Boon's experience includes financial reporting for both Canadian and U.S. listed companies with international subsidiaries, strategic planning, tax planning, corporate governance, equity financings and due diligence for acquisitions. Boon holds a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of British Columbia and is a Chartered Professional Accountant, CPA, CA.

Southern Arc Minerals Inc. is a Canadian mineral exploration company focused on gold and copper-gold exploration. The company holds an interest in the West Lombok project in Indonesia, a resource-stage property with several gold-rich copper porphyry and epithermal gold vein prospects.
