Southern Arc granted permit to explore in East Nusa Tenggara

Vancouver-based mineral exploration firm Southern Arc Minerals Inc. announced on Monday the granting of a a temporary prospecting permit license (SKIP) to explore an area of 69,738 Ha considered prospective for both precious and base metals, in northern parts of the Ngada Regency on Flores Island - East Nusa Tenggara.

The SKIP area encompasses the Company's Longgo KP and a number of historical Aberfoyle anomalies displaying epithermal Au-Ag vein and submarine exhalative styles of mineralization, the company said.

A rapid reconnaissance program of rock outcrop channel and chip sampling will commence in early February. Following this geochemical anomalies will be evaluated and ranked, and if justified leading to the lodgment of a formal exploration/mining license (KP) application, the company said.(alex)
