Sparrows wins multiple contracts in Indonesia

UK-based oilfield engineering services Sparrows Offshore Group Limited reported on Monday that it has recently won three crane maintenance and operations services contracts in Indonesia with Total, Premier Oil and Exxon Mobil.

Increasing well services activities have led to an existing contract with Total being doubled to include the provision of a second modular EC-20 crane rental. The deal includes crane operators as well as onshore and offshore support, the company said.

A three year contract has been agreed with Premier Oil to cover crane maintenance and inspections on all Premier Oil Indonesia assets. The contract is an extension of work that Sparrows has carried out for Premier Oil over the past four years.

The work with Exxon Mobil will see Sparrows provide inspection and refurbishment on the NSO platform in the Aceh province.
