SPC comments on Pertamina crude processing deal

We refer to the article in the Business Times dated 19 June 2003 entitled, "SPC in Pertamina processing deal" which reported that the Company had been picked to process 62,500 barrels a day of Minas crude for August and September 2003.
We would like to confirm that SPC participated in the Pertamina Crude Processing Tender on 2 June 2003. The Tender called for bids for crude processing of up to 125,000 barrels per day for August-November 2003.
SPC has not at this time, received notification of the results from Pertamina. The Company would be pleased to be awarded this contract by Pertamina.
