SPC ready to drill two wells

Singapore Petroleum Company Pte. Ltd (SPC) said that it will soon conduct exploration drilling of two wells in its Mahakam Hilir concession in Samarinda, East Kalimantan.
?We?ll conduct the drilling of Naga Utara 2 and 3 from April to August this year,? SPC General Manager Soekoesen Soemarinda said in Samarinda on Thursday.
For the exploration activities in the production sharing contract so far SPC has spent US$ 20 million. For the drilling of the two wells, SPC will spend US$ 12 million.
He hoped that the exploration activities would be supported by the local administration and the local community.
