SPC to carry out drilling campaign at Kalimantan block 2010

Singapore Petroleum Company (SPC) will conduct drilling campaign at its East Kalimantan exploration block in the second half of 2010, a company official said.
SPC Indonesia Country Manager Sukusen Soemarinda told Petromindo.Com on Thursday that the company will drill three wells at Mahakam Hilir exploration block.
Sukusen said the company had been cleared by upstream oil, gas authority to conduct 2D seismic on the block by the end of the year.
SPC has 100 percent in the block, which is granted by the government in November 2008. The Block, covering approximately 344.14 square kilometres, is located onshore Kutai Basin in the East Kalimantan Province, which is situated approximately one kilometer south of Samarinda town.(godang)
