SPE to start production from Sumatra oil field

Local oil firm Sumatra Persada Energi (SPE) will start oil production from its Central Sumatra block this month, a senior official with upstream oil, gas authority BPMIGAS said.

Deputy Chairman in charge of operations Rudi Rubiandini said on Friday SPE will produce oil at the rate of 2,000 BPD from Pendalian field in West Kampar PSC. (bernard)
