Sriwijaya Prima Energy plans exploration to find new reserves

PT Sriwijaya Prima Energy, a coal mining company in Ogan Komering Ilir Regency, South Sumatra, plans to soon conduct exploration activity at the concession to find new JORC reserves.
Sri Andini, President Commissioner of the company, told Petromindo.com recently that the exploration activity is expected to be started in December of this year.
She said that based on the previous JORC, the 18,000-hectare concession had around 1 billion tons of resources with coal CV of 3500 kg/cal.
?We want to renew the JORC resources and reserves,? she said, adding that the company is planning to develop a mine mouth power plant at the mine site, but stopped short of providing further details.
