Star Energy delays Sebatik drilling program until next year

Oil and gas company Star Energy said Sunday that it would delay drilling plan on Sebatik block, East Kalimantan until early next year.
“ After completed 2D seismic survey program in December last year, right now we still in evaluation process to determine drilling target prospects,” company president director Supramu Santosa told Petromindo.Com.
Earlier, The company said that it would drill two wells in Sebatik PSC starting July 2007.
Star has 100 percent working interest in Sebatik block. The company has carried out 550-km 2D seismic survey on the block. The company acquires the block in August 2005 through direct offer mechanism. (godang)
