Star Energy to complete Sebatik seismic survey soon

Oil and gas company Star Energy said Tuesday that its current 2D seismic survey on the Sebatik block, East Kalimantan was expected to be finished in the end of this November.
?The 2D seismic survey has been caried out over around 550 kilometers and is likely to be completed in the end of November. Then, we will continue with seismic processing until first quarter of 2007,? company president director Supramu Santosa told Petromindo.Com.
Supramu said that Star Energy would commence drilling campaign on two wells in third quarter of 2007.
The company acquires the block in August 2005 through direct offer mechanism. (godang)
