Star Energy to spud Stella 1X in May

Star Energy is scheduled to spud the Stella 1X well in Sebatik PSC in May of this year, a delay from the previous schedule of fourth quarter 2016.
This was said by Deputy for Planning Control at upstream authority SKK Migas Gunawan Sutadiwiria to Petromindo.com on Monday.
President Director of Star Energy Rudy Suparman said that currently his company is still in the process of preparation for the planned drilling of Stella 1X exploration well. "We are trying to drill as soon as possible," Rudy said.
The Stella 1X well is located in Binusan Village, Nunukan Regency, North Kalimantan. Star Energy holds a 75 percent stake in the Sebatik PSC.
