Star Energy wins N. Maluku geothermal concession

Star Energy, a company controlled by tycoon Prayogo Pangestu, has been picked to win Jailolo geothermal concession in West Halmahera regency, North Maluku, a government official said on Friday.
Director of Geothermal at the Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources Sugiharto Harsoprayitno said that the company was picked after beating the competitor IDX-listed energy firm PT.ATPK Resources Tbk.
According to Sugiharto, West Halmahera regent will soon make the announcement.
Jailolo concession has a potnetial to be developed to generate 75MW power plant. (bernard)
