The processed seismic data are now in the phase of advanced analysis and interpretation to evaluate hydrocarbon prospectivity of the area.

Statoil is the operator of the Halmahera II block, working under supervision and monitoring of SKK Migas. In this contract area, Statoil holds an 80 percent of working interest while Niko Resources holds the remaining 20 percent. The block covers more than 8,000 sq km in eastern Indonesia.
