Statoil to farm out Halmahera blok

Norwegian firm Statoil is planning to farm out its interest in Halmahera II block in Maluku Utara regency
The firm will open its data room for any companies interested in the blok.
?That?s right we want to farm out our interest in the block,? Wawan Koswara, General Manager at Stat Oil Indonesia, told Petromindo.com.
Stat has 80 percent interest in the block, in partnership with Niko Resources which holds the remaining interest . Sources said Niko also wants to farm out its ownership in the block, but Niko officials were not immediately available for comments.
