Stolt to continue to focus on Indonesian core business

Oil and gas service company Stolt Offshore S.A said on Wednesday that it would continue to focus on its established Indonesian core business of shallow water pipelay and diving work while waiting for more of the planned deepwater developments in Asia-Pacific region come into the market.
The company said that during 2001 it undertook pipeline repair work for TotalFinaElf in East Kalimantan and maintenance work for Conoco on the West Natuna pipeline.
The company also progressed maintenance work for BP in Indonesia and have won a long-term survey contract for Unocal in East Kalimantan. (alex)
