Straits' Sebuku records sales two million tons coal in 2002

Australian listed company Straits Resources Limited said its coal sales from Sebuku coalmine in Kalimantan had reached 2.005 million tons last year, slightly up from 1.978 million tons in 2001, the company said recently.
The company said it sales was managed at production of 2.065 million tons.
Straits Resources produced some 1.966 million tons of coal in 2001.
It said that the remaining coal reserves at Sebuku (by 31 December 2002) are as follows:

The Sebuku coalmine is an open-cut truck and shovel operation located on Sebuku Island in South Kalimantan. The company operates the mine through its 80 percent-owned subsidiary PT Bahari Cakrawala Sebuku. (robert)
