Straits to review commerciality of C. Kalimantan coking coal project

Singapore Exchange-listed coal mining firm Straits Asia Resources Limited reported on Thursday that exploration program at its Laung coking coal site in Central Kalimantan is almost complete.
?Straits Asia will be reviewing the project later in 2009 to determine whether it provides a commercially attractive proposition for the Group,? the company said in a quarterly report.
The company acquired the Laung concession, which is adjacent to BHP Billiton?s Maruway coking coal project, in 2007.(denny)
