Suban resumes gas production

Indonesian unit of US oil, gas company ConocoPhillips has completed maintenance works at its giant Suban gas field in CorridorBlock PSC onshore South Sumatra and gas production has been back to normal, an official at upstream oil, gas authority BPMIGAS said on Tuesday.
Spokesperson Gde Pradnyana told Petromindo.Com that the Suban gas field resumed production on July 29, 2011 .
The field underwent maintenance since July 23, 2011 . The process started with partial shutdown of 96 hours, where output was reduced to 530 MMCFD and 64 hours of total shutdown.
Suban is currently producing 760 MMCFD of gas, which is supplied to the state gas distribution firm PGN in West Java and Batam, Chevron Pacific Indonesia (CPI) in Central Sumatra and to Singapore.(godang)
