Subdistrict head accused of backing illegal mining

The head of the Tasik Payawan subdistrict in Kotim regency, Central Kalimantan has been accused by his subordinates of backing illegal mining activity in the area.

In a letter to the Central Kalimantan Governor, a copy of which was obtained by the Kalteng Post daily, the subordinates alleged the subdistrict head of receiving money from the illegal mining activity.

The letter was also sent to the Kotim Regent.(*)
