Sucofindo, Geo Dipa sign MoU on geothermal cooperation

State-owned consultancy services company PT Sucofindo and state-owend geothermal developer PT Geo Dipa Energi signed on Friday a MoU for cooperation in the latest technology in maintaining the reliability of the latter?s facilities including geothermal wells, pipeline and power plants, Investor Daily reported.

Sucofindo Commercial Director Heru Riza Chakim said that the company will help Geo Dipa by providing the latest data on the condition of the latter?s facilities using latest technology called advance non-destructive test developed by Japan?s Chugai Technos.

The data will then be used by Geo Dipa to maintain the facilities so that it can optimize geothermal and power production, as well as minimize unexpected shut down. (*)
