SUEK AG, an official exclusive coal trader of JSC 'Siberian Coal Energy Company' based in Rusia, is expecting to trade about 1.5 million tons of coal from Indonesia.
Agustin Fadjar, Chief Representative of the company in Indonesia told Petromindo.com today that this target is higher about 50 percent compared to this year's of only 1 million tons due to the bearish coal market.
"We predict that in 2013 the coal market will be better so we set a 50 percent growth," Agustin said adding that in 2011 the company traded about 2 million tons most of which went to India and China.
