SulphCo appoints PT. Isis Megah sonocracking distributor

Houston-based firm SulphCo, Inc. announced Monday it has signed an agreement with PT. Isis Megah (Isis), an Indonesian oil and gas services company, which grants Isis an exclusive distributorship in the sales territories of India, Malaysia, Singapore and Indonesia.
The company also announced its first customer order, procured through Isis, for Sonocracking(TM) units with at least thirty thousand barrels per day of processing capacity. SulphCo will provide advisory personnel and on-site project management to insure proper installation, start-up and commissioning of the units for which it will receive fee for each barrel of oil processed.
SulphCo has developed a patented safe and economic process employing ultrasound technology to desulfurize and hydrogenate crude oil and other oil related products. The Company's technology is designed to upgrade sour heavy crude oils into sweeter, lighter crude oils, producing more gallons of usable oil per barrel.(alex)
