Sumatra Copper recommences Tembang gold project construction

ASX-listed Sumatra Copper & Gold plc announced on Friday that it has recommenced construction at its Tembang Gold-Silver Project located in southern Sumatra.
The project was scheduled to achieve first gold pour in November 2015, 12 months after construction recommenced.
During the quarter key construction activities undertaken and milestones achieved for the project were:
? Completion of construction of the carbon-in-leach (CIL) processing facility and associated infrastructure.
? Dry commissioning of the plant eight weeks ahead of schedule.
? Successful handover from the project?s construction team to operations.
? First gold pour achieved on Sept. 27, eight weeks ahead of schedule.
? Demobilization of all construction contractors completed.
The construction and commissioning of the process plant was completed eight weeks ahead of schedule, under budget, and with no Lost Time Injuries.
