Sumatra Copper reports higher gold production

ASX-listed Sumatra Copper & Gold Plc reported that gold production in the second quarter ending June of this year at its Tembang gold and silver project in southern Sumatra reached 6,104 oz.

The company did not provide comparative figures, but based on previous report, the June quarter 2017 gold output was 18.32 percent higher than March quarter gold output of 5,159 oz.

The company said that silver production in the second quarter of this year 30,220 oz, much lower than 50,555 oz in the first quarter period.

Sumatra Copper said that gold sales in the June quarter reached 5,208 oz and silver sales of 36,973 oz.

The company reported gold and silver revenue of US$6.53 million and $0.63 million respectively for total revenue of $7.67 million. Average realized sales price for gold was $1,253/oz and silver $17.25/oz. All-in sustaining cost (AISC) for the June quarter was $1,453/oz.
