Sumsel 5 power plant 90 percent complete

The construction of PLTU Sumsel 5 mine-mouth power plant has reached 90 percent completion and the power plant is ready for trial in April this year, according to a senior official of state owned electricity firm PT Perusahaan Listrik Negara (PLN).
?The project is showing good progress as it has been 90 percent complete," said Nasri Sebayang, PLN?s Construction Director, told to Petromindo lately. "The plant should be entering trial phase in April this year", he added.
The 2x150 MW Sumsel 5 project is located in Musi Banyuasin Regency of South Sumatra Province. The power plant is developed by PT DSSP Power Sumsel, a unit of IDX listed PT Dian Swastatika Sentosa, Tbk. The firm received US$318 million loan from China Development Bank Corporation in December 2012 to finance the project.
