Sunrise Steel begins construction of second plant

East Java-based steel maker PT Sunrise Steel has recently started construction of a second continues galvalume line in Mojokerto, with annual production capacity of 150,000 tons.
IDX-listed steel maker PT Krakatau Steel Tbk, which provides required raw material for Sunrise, said in a recent statement that it was ready to provide more cold rolled steel raw material for Sunrise?s new plant.
The statement that when completed, Sunrise?s total capacity of continuous galvalume line will reach 39,000 tons per year. No further details were provided. Sunrise produces zinc coated aluminum steel products.
