The Supreme Court of Indonesia has announced that its State Administrative Chamber's Head Paulus Effendi Lotulung had selected three judges to determine the appeal filed by London-listed coal firm Churchill Mining Plc over investment dispute on East Kutai Coal Project in Samarinda.

The Churchill Mining has 75 percent interests on four mining licenses in the East Kutai Coal Project revoked by the Administrative Tribunal in Samarinda.

The three judges are Achmad Sukardja, Imam Soebechi and Marina Sidabutar.

The Supreme Court appeal was launched to seek to overturn the decision by Samarinda's Administrative Tribunal that revoked the four mining licenses comprised in the East Kutai Coal Project.

The Churchill Mining reiterated that it strongly objects to the ruling by the Administrative Tribunal in Samarinda and remains committed to protecting its interest in the East Kutai Coal Project and seeking an appropriate remedy for its shareholders
