Supreme Energy wins W. Sumatra geothermal prospect

Geothermal developer Supreme Energy has won right to develop Liki Pinangawan geothermal prospect in Solok Barat regency, West Sumatra, beating PLN?s subsidiary PT Indonesia Power.
Sugiharto Harsoprayitno, the Director of Geothermal division at the Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources said On Wednesday that currently, Supreme Energy and government team have negotiated about electricity selling price.
The prospect has potential to generate 40MW of electricity.
Supreme Energy, which is controlled by businessman Supramu Santosa was the initiator to survey the prospect. (bernard)
