Supreme hopeful to get forestry permit for geothermal project in February

Geothermal developer firm PT Supreme Energy hopes to be able to obtain the forest use permit from the Ministry of Forestry in February of 2014 to carry out geothermal exploration work in forest area in Rajabasa, Lampung.
Once the permit has been issued, the company aims to immediately carry out civil works to prepare for drilling program in March, according to Supreme Energy President Commissioner Supramu Santosa.
?We plan to spud the well in Rajabasa in March once the permit from the Ministry of Forestry has been issued. We?re optimistic to obtain the permit,? he told Petromindo.com on Tuesday.
He added that Supreme Energy spudded on Monday one well at its Rantau Dedap geothermal project in Lahat Regency, South Sumatra .
