Suralaya expects first shipment of Kalimantan coal Sept.

First shipments of coal from East Kalimantan coal miners PT.Berau Coal and PT.Kideco Jaya Agung to Indonesia Power?s Suralaya 3,400 MW power plant under one-year contract are expected to arrive this month, an Indonesia Power official said Tuesday.
Suralaya GM Bambang Susianto said that first shipment of 50,000 tonnes from Berau would arrive mid-month, followed by 60,000 tonnes from Kideco by the end of the month.
Under one-year contract that were signed last month, Berau will supply 2 million tonnes and Kideco 1 million tonnes. (godang)
