Survalent Technology, a provider of smart grid solutions for the control room, announced that it has commissioned a new Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition (SCADA) system for state owned utility firm PT Perusahan Listrik Negara.

The new system features Survalent?s open-architecture, quad-redundant system based on Windows Server with a Disaster Recovery Plan, the firm said in a statement.

It includes several of Survalent's open system applications, including: Worldview, SCADA Explorer, Command Sequencing, Event Data Recording, Remote Alarm Annunciation, Switch Order Preparation, IED Wizard, Control Panel, Disturbance Capture, Load Curtailment, Operation and Outage Accounting, System Configuration Status, External Clock, Replicator, Power Factor Control, Load Forecasting, and Multispeak.

?We welcome the decision made by Bali-Java (Indonesia) to change the architecture of their system to an integrated Windows-based quad-redundant architecture,? says Sunil Kewalramani, Vice President of Sales for the Asia Pacific, in the statement.

?This disaster recovery plan will allow Bali-Java to take full advantage of the intuitive nature of Quad Windows DRP and to benefit from all the new exciting applications, including DMS, which are developed by Survalent on the Windows platform.?
