Surveyor, Kowepo plan solar power projects in Nusa Tenggara

Indonesia?s state-owned PT Surveyor Indonesia, which is engaged in consultancy, surveyor and inspection services, signed on Tuesday a MoU with South Korea?s state-owned Korea Western Power Co Ltd (Kowepo) to team up in the development of solar power plant projects in East Nusa Tenggara and West Nusa Tenggara Provinces.
Surveyor said in a statement that the planned power projects will help resolve power shortage in the two provinces. The MoU was signed by Surveyor President Director M. Arif Zainuddin, and visiting Kowepo Vice President Song Jae Sub.
Arif said that the partnership with Kowepo marks Surveyor?s entry into the power plant development business. No further details were provided about their planned partnership in the renewable projects.
