Surya Esa posts higher production of LPG, condensate

PT Surya Esa Perkasa, Indonesia?s only listed LPG Refiner, announced on Friday that the company produced 10,685 metric tons of LPG and 37,490 barrels of condensate during the first quarter, an increase of 19.3 percent and 23.5 percent respectively over the same period a year earlier.

On the back of strong production growth, and on a consolidated basis, the company recorded revenue of US$10.6 million and net profit of $3.7 million. EBITDA was recorded at $6.1 million during the quarter.

Surya Esa owns and operates the second largest privately-owned LPG refinery in Indonesia. Its main business is the refining and processing of natural gas to produce LPG (propane and butane) and condensate. The company?s facilities are located in Palembang.
