Surya Esa secures gas supply for its ammonia plant

Gas processing company PT Surya Esa Perkasa is set to secure 55 mmscfd in gas supply from the Senoro-Toili block (Donggi-Senoro) for 12 years starting in 2015.
Executive Director Vinod Laroya said the company is now in the final stage of price negotiation with the block?s operator. ?We are still in negotiation, so we cannot reveal the offered price yet.?
The gas will supply an ammonia plant the company plans to build, through subsidiary PT Panca Amara Utama. The plant, which is estimated to cost US$700 million to build, will have a production capacity of 700,000 tons of ammonia a year.
The construction will start in 2012 and is scheduled for completion in 2014.
Eka Surya was established in 2006 and has a large gas processing facility in South Sumatra. Some of its products include LPG propane, LPG butane, propane and condensate.
