IDX-listed LPG refiner PT Surya Essa Perkasa Tbk reported that expansion of its LPG plant in Palembang, South Sumatra, is expected to be completed as planned in the second half of 2014.

The company said in a presentation filed with the IDX on Friday that the completion will see capacity to be expanded to 61,000 MTPA from 36,300 MTPA currently.

The company has appointed Enerflex as contractor of the LPG expansion project and construction work has started in June this year.

Besides LPG, the company also produces condensate with production of 122,000 barrels in 2012. Pertamina EP off-takes all condensate from the company until July 2022 under a handling fee structure.
