Syres seeks EPC contractor for mini hydro power projects

Independent power producer PT Syres Power Energy is still looking for EPC contractor of its planned 7.7 MW PLTMH Batu Brak mini hydro power plant project in Lampung Province and 6 MW PLTMH Bayang Nyalo in West Sumatra Province projects. The two power plants are targeted to start operation at the end of 2019.
Operation Director of Syres Power, San Akri said that the company is still in talks with a number of candidates including state-owned and private-owned engineering and construction firms.
?The contractor has yet to be selected. We?re engaged in direct negotiations with them, not through tender,? he told Petromindo.com on Tuesday.
The two power plant projects will each run by its subsidiary PT Tiga Oregon Putra and PT Bayang Nyalo Hydro.
