Tabalong?s coal potential reserves reach 155 million tons

The Tabalong regency in Central Kalimantan has some 155 million tons of coal reserves based on the result of satellite image, according Tresbio, an official from LAPAN, the national space agency.
He was quoted Saturday by the local Banjarmasin Post daily as saying that the coal reserves were scattered in various places covering some 42,229 hectare with the Wara area has the biggest reserves.
He said that Tabalong also has other mineral potentials including gold.(*)
