PT Indo Tambangmegah Raya Tbk.?s JORC coal reserves increased by 41.1 million tonnes to 335.6 Mt as of Dec. 31, 2010 from 294.5 Mt as of Dec. 31, 2009.

While production naturally cut its reserves, the reserves rose thanks to discovery of new reserves during exploration.

Reserve at Indominco mine rose by 40.4 Mt, while that of Trubaindo mine 35.6 Mt., Despite the rise in reserve, Indominco lost 11.8 Mt in reserve following a shutdown of underground mining activities.

Aside from Indominco and Trubaindo, the firm has other mines, that is Jorong, Kitadin Embalut, Kitadin Tandung Mayang (the three already in production) and Bharinto (which has yet to come into production). (Kanti)
