TaiPower renews term contract with Arutmin

South Kalimantan coal miner PT. Arutmin Indonesia is close to sign 1-year contract to ship 3 million tons of coal to Taiwan utility firm TaiPower, an official told Petromindo.Com Monday.

?The contract is due to be signed soon,? said Peter Tabalujan, corporate secretary of Bumi Resources, parent company of Arutmin.

He did not say when the first shipment would due. He added that the contract was the renewal of the previous contract, which ended March 31. Peter added that the price for the new contract would range between US$29-30 per tonne FOB. (godang)
