Taipower tenders for 2.2 million tons of coal

Taiwan Power is to hold a tender in early June for a combined 36 panamax shipments of bituminous and sub-bituminous coal for delivery in the last quarter of this year, a company official said as reported by Platts on Monday.

Solicitations will be called early June, with bid closing expected by late June.

The tender will involve 24 panamax shipments of bituminous coal and 12 panamax of sub-bituminous coal.(*)
