The Takalar Regency administration in South Sulawesi is teaming up with two firms from France and UK to build a 50 MW solar power plant, local reports said.

Takalar Regent Burhanuddin Baharuddin was quoted as saying that local government-owned firm PT Takalar Mas will team up with Indo Solar from France and Impacivity UK Ltd from England in the project, whose construction is expected to start this year.

The power project is part of various infrastructure facilities to be developed in Takalar to support a planned industrial zone. (*)
