(25 June 2013) -- Kingsrose Mining limited is pleased to announce that a letter from the Directorate General of Minerals and Coal (part of the Ministry of Mineral and Energy Resources) was received on 24 June 2013 (dated 20 June 2013) advising that mining is authorised for the Talang Santo mine.

The approval letter was received by PT Natarang Mining (?PTNM?), the Company?s 85% Indonesian subsidiary and operator of the Way Linggo Gold Project, from the Directorate General of Minerals and Coal. The letter, which states the updated project feasibility study is technically and economically acceptable, authorises normal mining activity at Talang Santo in accordance with Indonesian mining regulations.

PTNM is working to complete several other parallel processes. The existing Project AMDAL, approved in 2007 (covering the southern part of the Project, including the Way Linggo mine and existing infrastructure such as the process plant, tailings dam, roads, and associated buildings), is being extended to cover Talang Santo as well as the haul road between the mine and the mill. The extension reference report (KA-ANDAL) has been lodged with AMDAL Committee and is under review.

PTNM received an in-principle forestry permit (Refer ASX Announcement 20 December 2012) covering Talang Santo and the haul road and has since completed the necessary steps attached to it. In anticipation that issuance of the final ?borrow and use? or ?pinjam pakai? permit may take time, the Company has already requested and received written approval to cover the current development activities underway at Talang Santo.
