Talisman plans 2,500 sq kms seismic at N. Sumatra block

Canadian oil, gas company Talisman Energy plans to acquire 3D seismic at it Andaman III offshore PSC in Northern part of Sumatra this year.
The Company said in a Tender Announcement published on Wednesday that it sought contractor to carry out around 2,500 sq kms of Full Fold 3D seismic in the water depth of 400-1,400 meters.
The Company said last year it would start drilling well at the block in 2012.
The Company has 100 percent interest in the block. (alex)
