Talisman plans Indonesian drilling campaign in 2010-12

Canadian oil, gas firm Talisman Energy will drill at least four exploration wells at its Makassar Straits and North Sumatra exploration blocks from 2010 to 2012.
The company said it has completed 3D seismic at Pasang Kayu and 2 D seismic at Sageri block.
Two wells will be drilled in Pasang Kayu in 2010 while first Sageri well will be drilled in the fourth quarter of 2010.
The company said it has identified 11 prospects and leads at both blocks, which it said has the potential for giant fields.
Talisman is also planning to drill exploration well at its newly acquired Andaman III block offshore Aceh in 2012 with 3D seismic planned next year. The company said the Andaman III block contains large gas/condensate prospects and is close to Arun LNG facility which has significant excess capacity. (alex)
