Talisman reports flat Indonesian quarterly production

Gas production during the quarter reached 401 MMCFD (402 MMCFD in Q3 2010) and 388 MMCFD for nine-month of 2011 while liquid production reached 12,000 BPD and 11,000 BPD, respectively.
The company said volumes were higher than in the previous quarter (74,200 BOEPD) after planned shutdowns were completed in Corridor Block PSC onshore South Sumatra and Tangguh LNG plant in West Papua . The early compression project was commissioned in the Dayung field in Corridor block increasing gas production by 15% to 50 MMCFD (net sales gas).
The company also said that production continued to ramp up at the recently commissioned Jambi Merang project in Jambi, averaging 5,200 BOEP in the quarter.
Talisman has a 36 percent non-operating interest in Corridor block, which is operated by ConocoPhillips, a 3.06 percent interest in BP-operated Tangguh LNG plant and 25 percent interest in Jambi Merang.
Talisman also reported that it has spudded the Lempuk-1 deepwater exploration well in Sageri PSC in Makassar Straits in October this year.(alex)
