Talisman reports increase in S. Sumatra gas field production

The company said the increase was mainly due to increased West Java gas sales.
Talisman has a 36 percent non-operating interest in its Indonesian main asset Corridor Block PSC, which supplies gas to Chevron?s Central Sumatra oil fields, Singapore and West Java through pipeline. The block is operated by US oil, gas firm ConocoPhillips which has 54 percent interest.
Talisman?s other upstream assets include Ogan Komering PSC, ONWJ Block, Sageri and Pasang Kayu Blocks and Tangguh LNG project.
The company also reported that first gas was introduced into the Tangguh Train 1 facility on January 27, marking the startup of the Liquefied Natural Gas (LNG) processing facilities, with first commercial shipments scheduled for the second quarter. Talisman has a 3.06% working interest in BP-operated Tangguh LNG project in West Papua. (denny)
