Canadian firm Talisman Energy announced on Tuesday that its net production from ongoing operations in Indonesia averaged 72,000 boe/d during the fourth quarter, compared to 73,000 boe/d in both the previous quarter and the same period last year.

Its net production from the Corridor block was 58,000 boe/d during the quarter, down slightly from the previous quarter due to fluctuating gas demand in the region.

?Drilling is progressing on the first well of a three well development program at Corridor and is expected to be completed in the first quarter,? the firm said.

The firm has a 36 percent interest in the ConocoPhillips-operated Corridor PSC in South Sumatra, a 3.06 percent interest in Tangguh LNG project in West Papua and 25 percent interest in Jambi Merang PSC, Jambi.
