Talisman?s output up in Indonesia

Canadian energy firm Talisman reported a 5 percent increase in production in the second quarter of the year compared with the same period of last year.

The firm did not provide figures, only saying the increase was due principally to increased volumes at Jambi Merang block in central Sumatra and Tangguh LNG plant in West Papua.

The Corridor PSC in South Sumatra is maintaining production at record levels of over 1 bcf/d gross sales gas, it said.

The second quarter output was ?12 percent higher when normalized to account for Suban unitization,? it added.

Talisman has a 36 percent interest in the ConocoPhillips-operated Corridor, a 3.06 percent interest in Tangguh and 25 percent interest in Jambi Merang.
